The largest aim of the Damascus International Film Festival is to celebrate of the Syrian film to be introduced to the largest number of Arab and foreign filmmakers who attended the festival, and thus opened the way to "the Syrian film" to be participated in various international film festivals and doubling the chances of marketing.
